Singin' Sam was often referred to as "The
Last Link Between Today and The Old West". Fortunately that
was a bit of an exaggeration. There are quite few links

the publication in 1990, after a 5-year stint as Associate Editor at WESTERN HORSEMAN and a 1-year
position as Feature Writer for the TEXAS LONGHORN JOURNAL. Arnold
